The service
We control hydrocarbon spills and clean up what they leave behind: impacted areas and soil, tank bottoms and sands. When the hydrocarbon cannot be recovered, the treatment is biological, with bacteria that degrade it.
At Tanzaca Energy this service is available for oil and gas operations: fields, stations, plants, camps and operating bases.

Spill control
Spill control is part of the service, together with the handling of the waste that a spill generates: textiles impregnated with hydrocarbons, contaminated soil and sludge are collected and taken to treatment and final disposal.
Bioremediation
The service uses native bacteria developed to digest petroleum and fuel oil. They are applied to tank bottoms, sands and impacted areas when the hydrocarbon is too contaminated to be recovered.
Impacted areas and revegetation
We clean up areas impacted by contamination and, once the clean-up is finished, the area is revegetated.
Tank and tank-bottom cleaning
The service covers the cleaning and repair of crude storage tanks. The crude is recovered when possible; if it is too contaminated, the tank bottoms and sands are bioremediated, together with the surrounding areas that have been impacted.
It has the pumps, materials and equipment needed to clean all types of crude and fuel oil storage tanks and to carry out their subsequent repair.
